Blue Dog Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale Blue Dog specializes in the supply of beautiful, creative, design led, fairly traded, organic or hand crafted items at the most competitive prices available. Our customers are valued greatly and are promised a highly efficient yet personal and friendly service.
1. Prices
All prices are shown as inclusive of VAT and are subject to change without notice if necessary due to forces beyond our control. Invoices will be processed at prices current at time of order. All prices are in Pounds Sterling.
2. Payment
Payment can be made by the following methods :
• Card - We welcome payment by Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Maestro and Visa Electron for no extra charge. For payment by card, we require the card number, expiry date, valid from date, card type, the cardholder's name (as it appears on the card), the statement address and a contact number (not a mobile number). For switch cards, we also require the issue number.
• Personal or Company Cheque - Goods will be dispatched once the cheque is confirmed as cleared by our bank. As this can take up to 7 working days, if you require the goods quickly we recommend that you use one of the alternative methods above, or send us the cheque in good time.
Overseas customers
Payment is required at the time of dispatch by internationally accepted bank card (e.g. Visa, Delta, Mastercard).
3. Precautions
Hand made and hand printed fabrics need special care. Sunlight and detergents hasten fading. Please advise your customers to follow the washing instructions that accompany each item. Blue Dog cannot be held responsible for any goods damaged by direct sunlight or for any goods washed incorrectly. Do not lay deep coloured items over light coloured surfaces due to the possibility of irreversible colour transfer. Blue Dog cannot be held responsible for any such damage incurred. Blue Dog cannot accept any returns due to slight colour and size differences between any goods depicted in our catalogues and the actual sizes and colours, which may for instance have occurred in the printing and dyeing process.
In the event of Blue Dog supplying your order incorrectly in any way, customers must contact Blue Dog immediately, providing full details of the problem. PLEASE NEVER RETURN GOODS WITHOUT FIRST CONTACTING US. We will remedy any problem as soon as you speak to us. Blue Dog will not accept the return of goods that were undamaged when despatched or that were damaged but we were not informed of this within 7 days of delivery.
